1.0   Minutes of March 2021 AGM          moved       Lindsay  seconded   Colin   accepted

2.1 President opened the meeting  2.30pm

2.2 Treasurer
The meeting conversation canvassed club funds, their growth and security. The general view was that gradual accumulation at low risk suited the club better than complex or volatile options.

Rob offered to circulate more diverse term fund options being looked at by other aviation organisations.

The concept of club electronic banking supported by Steve and Greg led to this motion, allowing the Treasurer to test the arrangement with NAB.

"That Murray Bridge Gliding Club decides to enable single signatory electronic banking,
signator club Treasurer to activate.
Treasurer to check on setting of maximum withdrawal $ limit, and ability where payments are made to include immediate bank email confirmation to club President."
moved   Colin  seconded  Ian   accepted

Greg to confirm these details to the next meeting.

2.3
Waikerie spin training 15 th May
6 pilots signed out, all drove, VKR with Steve & Richard flew.

  Thoughts on capital spending
The meeting general feeling was that in view of the numerous impediments met to progress in build up of a 2.4litre engine, it was understandable that effort and cost could exceed benefit to be gained. That opportunities be looked for to update the club fleet by aircraft purchase.

2.4 Airworthiness
- FFQ   advance note that 100hrly is due in 8 hrs

- It is understood that Baylee is considering methods to develop an open trailer suitable for 109 use.

2.6
The meeting general feeling was that a Flinders trip in 2021 was beyond the club current planning scope, in view of issues there - limited accommodation with long lead booking times, weather obstacles to fly in and out, owner preferred single club use of site, etc

Members are to search out details on closer possibles -
Clare - which also gives access to Black Springs, Peterborough, Jamestown etc
for accommodation, airfield access, etc.
